I started learning about clay and ceramics when I was 11 years old. Presently, I am studying art and ceramics at The New School for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona. I continue to build my skills at All The Hands Pottery (www.allthehands.com) and Desert Dragon Pottery ( www.desertdragonpottery.com) which are both now in the same location in North Phoenix. I enjoy making ceramic pots and sculptures.
When I first began to do ceramic art, some of my pieces were entered in the Arizona State Fair and the Maricopa County Fair and did very well. I was able to place in many categories (2007-2009) and was fortunate to win several Rosette, Best of Class, Best of Show and a Judge’s Choice award. In 2009, I had two pieces selected for exhibition in the12th Annual National K-12 Ceramic Foundation Held in Phoenix, Arizona and was honored to receive a National Edward Orton Jr. Award for outstanding achievement.
For the past several years, some of my ceramic pieces have been accepted for sale at a large gallery in Bisbee, Arizona. It is called 55 Main Gallery (www.55maingallery.com). My goal is to continue my studies and to become a master potter. Thank you for looking at my web site.
